My name is Esther van de Vosse. I have 20 years of experience as a Biomedical Scientist.
I obtained an MSc in Biomedical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics. Since then I have worked as a post-doc on early Drosophila development at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and subsequently as post-doc and assistant professor at the Leiden University Medical Center. You can find my resumé here.
In those years working as a scientist I have (co-)authored over 100 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. You can find all my publications on Google Scholar.
I have an h-index of 43 (meaning I have authored 43 articles that have each been cited at least 43 times) and have published in high ranking journals.
Here are some examples you can download: IFNGR1_review_2017 ; Recurrent respiratory tract infections 2017 ; Case Report IFN-g antibodies 2017
In addition, I have been an associate editor for one of the BMC journals and have reviewed articles for many other journals. You can find my Web of Science profile, where you can verify my activity as an editor and reviewer here.
All these years of experience writing my own publications, coaching others in their writing process, and reviewing for various journals have taught me the tricks of the trade of writing and publishing clear, structured, scientifically sound articles.
All writing and editing can be done remotely, so it does not matter where in the world you (or I) are located. In fact, while my company is located in the Netherlands, from September 2017 to July 2022 I was actually working from North America. Currently I am mostly in the Central European Time zone (UTC/GMT +1 hour).
